The Founding of Mission San Antonio de Valero

Join us on the 300th anniversary of founding of the mission for a very special evening including a solemn ceremony and a one-of-a-kind tour featuring the Mission Convento and Church, as well as a presentation by Dr. Richard Bruce Winders, Alamo Historian and Curator. Tour price per person is $20 and is limited to the first 75 adults.

•6:00 p.m. Ceremony open to public in front of Alamo Shrine
•6:30 p.m. Tour participants enter the Shrine
•8:30 p.m. Tour ends.

Tips for making your free family night as enjoyable as possible:

– The first 1,500 guests will be admitted; please arrive early to ensure entry. When we reach capacity a sign will be posted outside The DoSeum
– Parking is limited; please plan accordingly
– No outside food allowed inside The DoSeum
– Please limit stroller use or use umbrella strollers only inside the museum
